OnTrak Alternative · Inventory, mobile order & proof

EasyCheck vs OnTrak — proof of what landed in account

Everything you need in one place. Warehouse inventory visibility, mobile ordering for sales reps, and photo-verified proof of what landed in account — not three tools and a spreadsheet trail. OnTrak-class systems often stop at activity; EasyCheck closes custody on the same modern field workflow.

Who this is for

Beverage distributors who want inventory, field ordering, and placement proof in one system — whether they are evaluating an OnTrak alternative or adding custody where activity tools leave a gap.

The gap

Most houses already touch inventory somewhere, activity somewhere else, and proof nowhere clean. Ordered or inventoried materials are not the same as placed in account. Without photo custody on the visit/program record, supplier and co-op asks often mean a second trip. Activity logs close the task. They do not always close the proof — and hopping between systems makes that worse.

Everything in one place

EasyCheck is built so sales and ops are not stitching together warehouse stock, field orders, and placement proof from separate tools.

In one modern app, teams can:

  1. See warehouse / in-system inventory
    What is available to deploy.
  2. Place an order from the phone
Sales reps order from the field; warehouse pulls and notifies when ready for pickup.
  3. Prove what landed in account
Timestamped, geotagged photos on the visit and program record so co-op and suppliers can audit without a second trip.

That unified spine is the point. Custody is how EasyCheck wins the OnTrak-class comparison (activity ≠ proof). Inventory visibility and mobile ordering are how the daily job actually runs — in the same place.

How we compare

Core job

OnTrak-class (activity)

Inventory, activity, and sign programs

EasyCheck (custody)

Photo-verified field execution and POS chain of custody

Unified system

OnTrak-class (activity)

Activity / inventory modules, often split across tools

EasyCheck (custody)

Warehouse inventory + mobile order + photo custody in one place

Proof unit

OnTrak-class (activity)

Order, task, or inventory event

EasyCheck (custody)

Visit plus timestamped, geotagged photo on the program record

Supplier / co-op ask

OnTrak-class (activity)

Often “show it was ordered”

EasyCheck (custody)

“Show what landed in account”

Fit with DMS/ERP

OnTrak-class (activity)

Complements warehouse and order systems

EasyCheck (custody)

Complements DMS/ERP (e.g. Encompass, VIP, GreatVines) — not a replacement

POS / promo materials lifecycle

OnTrak-class (activity)

Activity and inventory modules vary

EasyCheck (custody)

Physical promo + design/print — order in-app through place, photo proof, and optional return — complements DMS/ERP.

How teams use both

OnTrak-class (activity)

Keep activity tools for what they do well

EasyCheck (custody)

Add custody where proof is the pain — or migrate on the same playbook

How EasyCheck closes it

Request → place → verify. Field teams capture placement with timestamped, geotagged photos tied to the visit and program record so ops and suppliers can audit without a second trip.

Complementary, not a rip-and-replace

EasyCheck does not claim to replace every OnTrak module. Where the pain is proving outcomes — not logging activity — EasyCheck is the custody layer. Many houses keep activity tools and add EasyCheck for proof. Others migrate when they want one execution record. Same story either way: activity logs ≠ proof.

Modern stack, records you can trust

EasyCheck runs on a modern application stack built for today’s distributor workflows — mobile field capture, program records, and ops review in one place.

What that means for you: visit and photo evidence stay tied to the account and program as durable operational records. Custody is designed so placement proof and inventory/program state stay aligned — you are not left reconstructing what happened from activity logs alone.

We complement the systems you already run (including DMS/ERP such as Encompass, VIP, or GreatVines). EasyCheck does not replace your order or warehouse system of record; it adds timestamped, geotagged proof of what landed in account so co-op and supplier asks do not require a second trip.

POS and promo materials — part of the same system

EasyCheck is more than visit activity. It covers the full lifecycle of POS and promotional materials — both physical items (tap handles, glassware, coasters, and similar) and design-request / printed pieces — from the warehouse to the account and back when items can be reused.

How it works in the field

  1. Check in
Materials check in to inventory when they arrive.
  2. Order in-app
Sales reps order from the EasyCheck app — physical stock and design-request prints.
  3. Warehouse pull
The warehouse pulls the order; the rep gets a ready for pickup notification.
  4. Place
The rep deploys to the account (bar, restaurant, c-store, grocery) and places the item.
  5. Photo verification
Timestamped, geotagged proof of what landed in account.
  6. Optional collect
When items can return, mark them for collect; the rep picks up and checks them back in if condition is good.
  7. Reuse visibility
Ops can see reuse / cycle history so materials are not a one-way black hole.

Physical promo items and design-request prints ride the same EasyCheck workflow as warehouse visibility and custody — check-in, in-app order, pickup, place, photo proof, optional return. It complements your DMS/ERP (Encompass, VIP, GreatVines, and similar) for beverage accounting — EasyCheck does not replace those systems. Where OnTrak-class tools stop at activity, EasyCheck keeps materials and proof in one place.
